# Privacy Policy

Performia International AB (“Performia”, “we”, “us”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This policy explains what we collect through this website, why, and the rights you have. It is written with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) in mind.

## 1. Who is responsible for your data

## 2. The data we collect

- **Information you give us.** When you call or email one of our offices, we receive what you choose to share with us, such as your name, your contact details and the content of your message.
- **Website analytics.** When you browse this site, we record how it is used: the pages you view, how long and how far you read them, the links you click (for example a phone number, an email address or a link to another website) and how you arrived at the site. With this we record your approximate location (country, region and city), your time zone, the network organisation you connect through (such as your company or internet provider), and your device type, operating system, browser, screen size and language. Section 8 explains how this works without cookies and without storing your IP address.
- **Technical data.** Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes your IP address and browser information to deliver and protect the site. We do not store your IP address.
- **Your country and language choice.** If you choose a country or language, your browser remembers it (in local storage and in a cookie named pf\_loc), so the site opens in that version next time. The cookie is sent to our server only so that it can open the version you chose.

## 3. How we use your data, and our lawful basis

- To respond to your enquiry and provide the information or services you request (lawful basis: your consent, and our legitimate interest in answering you).
- To operate, secure and improve the website (legitimate interest).
- To understand, in aggregate, how the website is used: which pages are read, where visitors come from, and how often people call or email each office (legitimate interest; see section 8).

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for automated decision-making.

## 4. Candidate testing and assessment

Pre-employment testing, questionnaires and candidate assessments are carried out in Performia's separate secure online system, which is governed by its own terms and privacy provisions. This website's policy does not cover data processed within that platform.

## 5. Sharing and international transfers

We share personal data only with service providers that help us operate the site (for example, our hosting and email providers), under appropriate safeguards, and where required by law. Performia operates in more than 26 countries; where data is transferred internationally, we rely on appropriate legal transfer mechanisms.

## 6. Retention

We keep enquiry data only as long as necessary to handle your request and for a reasonable period thereafter, then delete or anonymise it.

Website analytics records are deleted after 13 months. Daily totals, which contain no visitor identifiers, may be kept longer.

## 7. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the processing of your personal data, to object to processing, and to data portability. You may also withdraw consent at any time and lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority (in Sweden, the Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten, IMY). ## 8. Cookies and website analytics

This site uses no advertising or tracking cookies and no third-party trackers. The only cookie is pf\_loc, which remembers the country or language you chose (see section 2).

We measure the use of the site with our own analytics. It runs at our hosting provider, Cloudflare, and stores nothing on your device. To count visits without knowing who you are, each visitor is given an anonymous code made from a one-way hash of a random value, the IP address and the browser. The random value is replaced every day and deleted after the day ends, so the code cannot be traced back to you or linked to your visits on other days. Your IP address is never stored.

The analytics records the information described in section 2, including the name of the network organisation you connect through (such as your company or internet provider) as Cloudflare reports it. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we do not record the network organisation.

We use this information only in aggregate, to improve the site and to see which countries and offices people are trying to reach. We do not sell it, use it for advertising or combine it with other data to identify you. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used. You can ask about it or object at any time by writing to [info@performia.net](mailto:info@performia.net).

We also use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a service from our hosting provider that measures how fast pages load, without cookies.

## 9. Security

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit and access controls.

## 10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date above reflects the latest revision.
